Larsen & Toubro Secures Major Power Projects in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and India
Indian engineering powerhouse Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has landed significant new contracts in the power sector across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and India. The company’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) division announced these wins on Monday, reinforcing its role in strengthening energy infrastructure across multiple regions.

Key Projects in Saudi Arabia and UAE
In Saudi Arabia, L&T will develop a 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), which includes essential reactors and the installation of hybrid GIS bays. Meanwhile, in Abu Dhabi, the company has secured a contract to build a 220/33kV grid station, along with additional related works.
A Testament to L&T’s Expertise
L&T emphasized that these repeat orders from long-standing clients highlight the company’s pivotal role in enhancing grid infrastructure and accelerating the expansion of renewable energy solutions.
Although L&T did not disclose the exact contract value, the company categorized the projects as ‘large,’ falling within the $286 million-$573 million.
With these new deals, L&T continues to strengthen its presence in the Middle East and India, contributing to the development of sustainable and efficient power networks.
