Oman Accelerates Education Development: Four New Schools Under Construction in Muscat Governorate Worth Over OMR 14 Million
Muscat, Oman – The Ministry of Education is making significant strides in expanding the nation’s educational infrastructure with the ongoing construction of four state-of-the-art schools across the Muscat Governorate. These projects, with a combined investment of over OMR 14 million (approximately USD 36 million), aim to cater to students across various educational stages, ensuring high-quality learning environments for Omani youth.

Major Boost to Oman’s Educational Infrastructure
According to Dr. Abdullah Khalfan Al Shibli, Director of Projects and Services in Muscat Governorate, construction work is in full swing. The Ministry of Education is closely monitoring the development to ensure timely completion and adherence to modern educational standards.
“Each school is being equipped with integrated facilities designed to enhance the learning experience, promote academic excellence, and support Oman’s national education goals,” said Dr. Al Shibli.
