Designed to empower artisans and small-scale producers, the event provided a valuable platform for showcasing authentic Saudi craftsmanship and expanding market opportunities. This initiative aligns with "Reef Saudi’s" broader mission to enhance the livelihoods of rural entrepreneurs and contribute to the overall development of rural communities.

The bazaar featured an extensive array of traditional handicrafts, including Sadu weaving, pottery, palm frond weaving, macrame, and intricate wood engraving. Additionally, home-based businesses and family-run enterprises played a key role in enriching the event, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship deeply rooted in Saudi Arabia’s rural traditions.

The event also coincided with Saudi Arabia's designation of 2025 as the "Year of Handicrafts," underscoring the nation's commitment to preserving and promoting its artisanal heritage. This growing focus on traditional craftsmanship not only strengthens cultural identity but also drives economic growth by supporting rural industries and fostering innovation in handicrafts.

As part of its ongoing efforts, the "Reef Saudi" program introduced several notable initiatives this year, including projects that highlight rural success stories and promote rural tourism destinations within the Kingdom. One standout initiative, "Our Winter is Rural," took visitors on a cultural journey across five key regions—starting in Riyadh and continuing through Taif, Buraydah, and Madinah before culminating in Jazan
