SEPCOⅢ Celebrates Successful Commencement of Peaking Units Project in Ras Abu Fontas, Qatar

Qatar: The successful commencement of the Peaking Units Project in Ras Abu Fontas, Qatar, was celebrated on April 13 at 11:00 a.m. local time. The ceremony was attended by representatives from QEWC, FICHTNER, and DOOSAN, along with the SEPCOⅢ project team.

The preparatory work of the project team was highly appreciated by MR. Wael Ammar, who stated that the project was considered vital for regional economic growth and international cooperation. Emphasis was placed on safety, quality, and adherence to international standards.

All participating units should focus on safety and quality, strictly follow international standards, ensure the efficient advancement of the project, and create a benchmark for high-quality projects in the Middle East. Yan Baoqiang delivered a speech on resource allocation, building a solid safety line, and deepening multi-party collaboration. The FICHTNER and the DOOSAN representatives delivered a speech later.

Peaking Units Project, Ras Abu Fontas, Qatar is the SEPCOⅢ’s first project to enter the Qatar market. The completion of the project will meet Qatar’s peak electricity demand in summer and play an important role in the peak load regulation of the newly built photovoltaic project.
